What article 44 sets

  • Death, permanent absolute disability or severe disability from a work accident or occupational contingency: €30,000

The agreement requires the company to hold a policy for its staff.

Condition. Only chains with over 400 staff and over 3,500 m2 of sales floor or shops in at least three regions (or their group). Unless a more favourable policy exists. Where a lower level agreement was still in force, it applies when that one ends (art. 8).

Article wording (Spanish): «vendrán obligadas a concertar un seguro que cubra las contingencias de fallecimiento, incapacidad permanente absoluta o gran incapacidad, derivadas de accidente laboral o contingencia profesional, cuyo capital asegurado no podrá ser inferior a 30.000 euros.»
